New Vessel & Auntie Gina!

Heya Nesters!   As promised, I'd still be here but just a little less regularly.  So, here I am!  I had a smidge of extra pocket money, seeing as though I finally sold my bed frame  {for the asking price! YAY!} and got paid for my first ever custom furniture piece!  With cash in hand, I finally gave in and got a replacement for the broken glass vessel that the nest sat in.  Off to TJ Maxx I went!  I had been eying these fun vessels since mine broke, yet somehow $12.99 seemed outrageous.  This time I bit the bullet and went home as happy as a clam!

The shape of this glass container fits the size of the nest so much better.  I thought the other one was interesting that it was so deep and only filled about a quarter of the way. But this just works so perfectly.

So, yay! I'm happy with my purchase. But I was even happier to drive to NYC to see my beloved little nephew for the first time. He is just the most precious thing on the planet and I couldn't be happier to be his Auntie.

I may look a little worse for wear.  After all, I did drive from Boston to NYC and back to Boston, all in one day.  Needless to say, I was face down on the couch, drooling by 9PM that night.  {Not joking... I'm so hot.}

But man, it was worth it.  He is perfect.  And strong!! Four days old and he could already move his head on his own!  I am one proud auntie!  I can't wait to spend more time with him.  Matt and I will be back in about 2 weeks to see the wee one.  I'll be fascinated to compare how he has changed in two weeks!

Well anyhoo, not too many wild and crazy things going on over here! I'll be back at upholstery class this Wednesday and will surely be showing you the play by play of the new piece!  Come back and check out what's going on!
