Orange and Teal seals the deal.

Heya Nesters! I know it's Wednesday and it's going to be a long one.  But lets rise against the doldrums and enjoy some eye candy.  Shall we? I just had to share with you guys this amazing room designed by Kendall Wilkinson for Traditional Home

I know what you're thinking: Incredible. The unapologetically bold colors and the hyper glam silhouettes and textures... I have no words.  {Ok, maybe a few.}  I bow down at the feet of Kendall Wilkinson for their show stopping room.  I just thought you all might like the hump day stunning space!

Do you love it? Hate it? Specific elements that you love or hate? Dish, Nesters! We all want to hear!

House Tour

Heya Nesters!  Don't you love it when you reconnect with old friends?  I have this friend, Brielle. I've known her for.ev.er.  Our dads are best friends from college and we grew up together doing many family activities together, since they lived only a few towns over.  Being a couple years older than me, she was someone I always admired.  She went away to school for design and as an onlooking high schooler about to start my college hunt, it was eye opening that one could get a degree in that. "Maybe I should start looking for schools with fashion design programs..." So I did and now I have a degree in that! But she lived far away for school and we didn't keep in touch much.  Since we've both been back in Beantown, and she {and her gentlemanly chef of a fiance, Brooks} is of course always invited to our family gatherings, we've gotten back in touch.  I'm so happy that she is an interior designer to boot because I can talk shop to her for hours on end and she doesn't mind! And her house is to-die-for.  I brought my camera on a little trip to Brielle and Brooks' home to show you guys some of her handywork.

Fall Bouquet: Part 2

A few weeks ago, my mom gifted me a bouquet of gorgeous roses from her garden that only bloom in the late summer just before fall hits.  They were great while they lasted but while at Trader Joe's on Friday I decided to treat myself with a true "Fall Bouquet."

Fall Inspiration

The air has become crisp in the last week or two here in New England.  You can start seeing just a hint of leaves changing colors.  You may recognize this image of Boston Common in Autumn...

I've been so mesmerized by the colors so I thought I'd share with you some rooms that give me the feeling of fall, coziness and tranquility.
