Arrangements

Heya Nesters!  I have a confession: I love Groupon.  It's a bad thing to be in love with. Baaaaaaad.

I've gotten deals on everything from yoga classes to bathing goodies.  All of which were turned out smashingly. {Forgive my British terminology, I am doused in Wills and Kate.}

Last week's purchase was fostered by my friend and coworker, Megan, who is just as wedding obsessed as I am.  She mentioned that there was a Groupon that I somehow missed that was for a floral arranging class! How awesome is that!?

We giddily talked about taking it together and decided to just go for it! It's a skill that will stay with you forever, right?  So, maybe when one of us gets married, we can make our own bouquets or center pieces... or it could just be a fun girls night out!  The class is offered through Dogwood Floral Design in a Boston suburb not far from our office.

I'm super excited to take the class and to show you all what learned and I get to take home! {squee!}  We're not sure when we'll be going but be sure to stick around to see how that goes!! <3

  1. Sounds like fun! I've been tempted by a few Groupon offers, but haven't hit the button yet. It's only a matter of time, I'm sure!

  2. Oh, you'll have a ball. For a while after I retired, I ran an afterschool program at a local high school, where the kids got to learn all kinds of cool stuff, like glass fusion, cake decorating, jewelry making and floral design. They absolutely loved making flower arrangements to take home. One girl got so good that she got a job doing bridal arrangements.

  3. We are Soo addicted too! At those prices it is hard to pass up those things you do anyway or have always wanted to! We just wanted to let you know that we have some new cute backgrounds at http://thecutestblogontheblock.com/free/free-backgrounds.html and would love for you to stop by and check them out and then let us know what you think! :)

    Thanks,

  4. First, I just have to mention how much I like all of the black and white fabric you chose in the last post!

    Also, I'm going to start a Friday Flower Arranging 101 series on my blog. I'm a trained floral designer, and had a good response to my first post about it, which was on Monday.

    I'll be interested to see what you learn at your class!
