Gimme Gimme

Damn you, Piperlime having a whole Marc Jacobs section that I drool over!  If only I made more money {or were independently wealthy}, I would get the Ozzy Lucy bag. At a mere $398 {that's just pocket change, right!?} and with moving kicking into high gear my four hundred dollars can go towards something a little more... necessary. *le sigh*

    I've got my eye on a new Michael Kors bag, and I'm just about to give in, since the ones I already have are getting a little worn...and anyway, I don't have one this color! One of the perks of being over 60 is that you can rationalize that you don't have that many more years to pamper yourself. It works every time...LOL

    Oh, hell, no...at your age I just had different rationalizations, and I had to work harder to make them sound believable...LOL When I was in my 30s, I rationalized my way to a closetful of Dooneys and Coaches, and I worked my way up to Louis Vuitton Almas and Babylones by the time I was in my 50s. Now that I'm retired, I've had to lower my price range a bit, but I'm not giving up my handbags! As far as I'm concerned, a good bag IS a necessity!
