Heya Nesters!
So, my job at TJX was cool and all {traveling to China and Taiwan was pretty stinkin' cool.} but my new job is -dare I say- DA' BOMB. I get to help people get all the goodies they need for their events, whether it be over the phone or in our showroom. My new home {read: desk} looks out on to our showroom. Half of the showroom is dedicated to a working space that displays all our equipment and linens and allows customers blank tables to play and figure out how they want to set their table.
The other side of the show room is dedicated to showcasing tables that event venues, planners, caterers and florists have designed to boast their abilities. I figured you guys might enjoy some of these ornate, living masterpieces!
This table was inspired by Downton Abbey!
The turf underneath the table really gives the vibe of an outdoor event.
And the small vignettes beneath the acrylic fill out the visual expanse without cluttering the surface itself. Brilliant!
I love all the moss and burlap giving the nature feel, coupled with the acrylic topper. Little fact: the acrylic is being held up by shot glasses hidden in the moss!
This table is one that our team put together! We call this table "Get the Look"! Martha Stewart had a Spring table in one of her recent issues and the team put their own spin on it with all products that we have in our showroom! Perfect for an Easter table or a Tea Party!!
This table was put together by the Decordova Museum. Every month they install a new piece of art and make a table that works with it. I love that this one has a touch of a Nautical theme.
My apologies on the blurry picture to follow! I didn't have a tripod, or much time to take pictures. If you have a hard time seeing this, there are starfish tied with ribbon to the back of each chair and a seashell balanced on each napkin ring.
Sometimes we will showcase our new products, whether it be linens, china, flatware, stemware or chairs. The silver and white table perfectly balance all our new goodies. It's simple and modern and perfect for any function.
We just put up quite a few new tables so those will be soon to come!
Happy Easter!
xoxo
